Hard week, the one that just passed... last friday our family became smaller.
It's amazing how pets (in this case dogs) have the power to transform our daily lives even if most of the times we don't even figure it out.
I already miss the howling and the barking while both of our dogs waited for me to prepare their meal, the way Laica appeared to me with my socks on her mouth, how hard it was to take her to the Vet (she hated even if their Vet loved them...) and how (without being taught) she found a way to open the doors with hard handles.
Dear Laica, I'm truly sorry for all the times I was too lazy to go for walk with you, for every time we were delayed to take you to the vet and for all the times I was at home and I didn't take you both next to me.
I hope somehow you'll find the place where you can get cookies without the need of being sited or lifting up your paw. Where you won't find challenging cats, where you can run free without having to worry about cars and where ripped socks or bitten table legs don't mean punishment.
That place, I'm positive, will be your heaven. The place where you'll have back all the devotion and joy you've been giving to us since you came to our home.
On the same day Laica left us, I went with Isis for a walk in our favorite spot thinking that this might be the very best way to pay tribute to her. We both made this pictures.
Lots of barking to you all!
PF
